Printing Envelopes
The first step in printing envelopes is to select your
envelope style. Do this by clicking the icon Envelope Styles at the top
of the Inscomm screen. It will open a screen with a variety of envelopes
to select from. The most common size is10. If you do not see your envelope
size in the list, then you should look at the specifications for the envelope
and find the one closest to matching the envelopes that you have. To select
the envelope style, click on the envelope style and click OK.
To select the envelopes font and font size, look under
Setup|Print defaults.
After you have selected your envelope style, bring the
client up on the Client Information and click the envelopes icon (along
the left-hand side of the screen). This will allow you to print an envelope
for this specific client. The first window gives you the option to print
or batch. If you select batch, it puts the print job in a queue to print
at a later time. When you want to print from batch, click File|Batch queues
and select envelopes. At this point you can select what to print that
is in batch.
The other option is to print right away. When you click
on print from this window, you will get the option of the feed method,
return address, and whether to print a logo. Select the options you would
like and click OK.

To print envelopes for a group of people,
you need to run a report and transfer it to Mass Mail. For example, if
you would like to print envelopes for everyone in the database with the
tag of Q, go to Reports|Client list, type Q in the Include Tag field,
click on process and then transfer. It will ask you for a table name.
This is just to name the list that you are transferring to Mass Mail.
Enter a name for the table (do not start with a number and do not include
any symbols such as dashes or commas) then click OK. This will transfer
the list to Mass Mail. When the transfer window disappears, close the
report window.

Once the list is transferred to Mass Mail, open Mass Mailing.
Click the open icon (the second icon from the left).Select the name of
the list you created and click OK. Click Envelopes at the top of the window.

The next window allows you to select the sort
order. Select LastName if you would like the envelopes printed in alphabetical
order. You also have the option to print part of the list by using the range.
For example, if you only want to print people with a last name start with
A-T, you would select last name under range, and type A in the From field
and T in the Thru field. Then click on process and print. This will print
one envelope for each person in the Mass Mailing list with a last name starting
with A-T. If you would like the entire list, under range select No Range
and then click on process and print.
